Birding Checklist: Bowers’ SaddleBrooke, Arizona Yard (alphabetic)

Bob and Prudy’s yard is a relatively small (1/3 acre) lot in the ‘active’ retirement community of SaddleBrooke.  The yard is bordered on two sides by streets and by 5-foot stucco walls on the other two, separating the yard from those of neighbors.  In spite of not bordering either golf course or other natural areas, many birds are attracted to the extensive plantings of trees, flowers and shrubs, as well as water features and bird feeders.  The following list is of birds documented in the yard or identified from the yard, such as overflying hawks or water birds, and represents birds noted since 2003.
